Floyd has over 37 years’ experience in the real estate development and construction industry delivering projects valued over $2.8 billion. Floyd’s key skills cover project origination, strategic management, development, construction and commercial risks management. He is a Chartered and Registered Builder with the Building Practitioners Board and holds Post Graduate Diploma from VUT and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in Engineering and Project Management. He also holds an MBA in Real Estate and Construction from the University of Reading, UK and is a certified CEO of The CEO Institute.
Jane has over 15 years’ experience in finance and the property development industry. Her key skills include real estate development and investment, marketing and finance. Jane also has extensive experience implementing Australian immigration policies to assist migrants to invest and settle in Australia. Jane has a Masters of Commerce (Major in Finance) from the University of Melbourne.
Originally from a construction background, Justin has held roles with various reputable builders in Victoria. Justin has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) and his knowledge of the construction industry enables him to provide an extremely strong and knowledgeable input into the tender and construction aspects of the development cycle. His experience in the project design development process in conjunction with his market knowledge also ensures that we achieve great value for our customers.

– Site access, hoarding, amenities and offices complete
– Demolition/strip-out of existing levels is generally complete
– Preparation for erection of tower crane underway

Construction officially commenced in mid-May! While there had been some ongoing preliminary works for some time, the Melbourne City Council’s endorsement of the Construction Management Plan has officially enabled the commencement of construction works.
The complete internal strip-out of the existing structure is well underway, with public protection works expected to be carried out toward the middle of this month. This is in preparation for the the added levels to be built onto the existing structure.

It’s been long haul getting to this point, but today we commence the sales pre-launch for 388 Lonsdale Street! http://www.388lonsdale.com.au. We have also commenced our display suite located on the ground floor of 388 Lonsdale St (entrance via Hardware Street).
Revised Planning Permit issued today as a result of last Friday’s resolution at VCAT.
Today’s VCAT hearing has resulted in a mediated outcome between Aurumstone and the Melbourne City Council. Council has agreed to an additional setback level (Level 18), Level 1 now as apartments, and the incorporation of revised layouts which positively provide for more natural light into living space for future purchasers. Aurumstone in return will need to change the use of the basement tenancy which is currently permitted as a nightclub, but notably we had already commenced the process of doing this in any case. This is a fantastic result for all!! In particular, our future purchasers who will benefit from additional natural light, and will need not have any concern of a nightclub outside the apartment complex entrance.
Our development at 388 Lonsdale Street will be branded “388”. This has been decided upon in conjunction with our sales and marketing team, 360 Property Group and Tomorrow Agency, and of course our project manager First Urban.
Aurumstone has been granted a Town Planning Permit for the development of 388 Lonsdale Street. This follows the Future Melbourne Committee held on 7th October 2015 where all councillors voted unanimously in favour of the development.
